Growing Businesses Receive Investment Through Bucks Built Startup Fund – LevittownNow.com

Five early-stage startup companies with potential have been awarded $25,000 each in investment funding and a year of advisory support.
The five companies either operate in Bucks County or will, according to a press release from the Bucks Built Startup Fund.
Below are the five businesses:
The nonprofit Bucks Built Startup Fund is overseen by local entrepreneurs and those in the business community.
There were 10 finalists out of 120 applicants to the funding round. The panel that chose the winners looked at a number of factors, including the potential to grow quickly and broadly while having a positive economic impact in the county, according to a press release.
The five business that were in the first cohort in February have seen growth since receiving funding. Four have received new investment commitments from Ben Franklin Technology Partners and two having been accepted to TechStars Accelerators.
